About the webinar:

Children from low-income families are at a disadvantage globally, but children with disabilities suffer the greatest disadvantage throughout the world. My seminar will focus on the need to change the dynamics within the classroom where teachers and parents communicate, monitor, and engage in the learning process of their children. The focus will be more on public schools, as opposed to private schools that accommodate for the needs of students more. It will look at the education system within the United Kingdom and their approach to learning disabilities — some of which are invisible e.g. dyslexia, dyscalculia and need educators to understand how to teach children efficiently. It will also encourage teachers to network with each other across Iraq, and to teachers elsewhere to broaden their understanding of teaching methodologies.
